But it can get stuck or entangled with smaller and less hefty objects like shoelaces, USB cables, and pen.

It didn't clean, however its washable pads were a bit difficult to attach and didn't deal with dried-on dirt.

The app is basic, lacking advanced features like multiple cleaning modes and automated cleaning scheduling. It is compatible with Alexa but its voice controls don't seem to be very precise or responsive. Also, it's a bit difficult when it comes to getting back to the charging station after a run Other robots can trace a previous path or sensibly follow a wall around until they get to their home however, the RX3 just bumbles about until it quits and sends a failure message to your phone.

We also encountered issues with the smart features of the device, including its mapping feature and digital stay-out zones. While it did a decent job of avoiding our furniture legs and shoes but it could easily be stuck by socks and cables, and it was not able to manage the tassels that adorn rugs. We didn't include the Scout RX3 on our Best Buy list. The Scout RX3 offers a good price and a dazzling performance. It's worth considering as an alternative to uprights that are traditionally used.
